James Alvich has more than 12 years experience in advertising, specializing in television, radio, and online commercial production. He began his career as a Producer at Draft FCB, working on top accounts like Verizon, American Express, Compaq and Bank of America. In 2007, James joined BBDO New York as a Senior Producer, managing and producing television and online commercials for Orbitz, AT&T, and Gillette. James oversaw production of commercials both domestically and internationally, and was recognized for his ability to successfully manage client relations while overseeing multi-million dollar productions.
With accomplishments ranging from distinguished awards of excellence to pro bono productions that successfully raised necessary funding, James decided to step away from the ad agency world in 2011 to pursue new professional goals. James married his knowledge of strategic branding and production with his passion for music by partnering with music vets Gabe Hilfer and Jim Black to create MAS, a fully integrated one-stop-music-shop.
In his new role, James oversees new business development, strategic planning and execution of music, and TV production as it relates to sonic branding. James has spent his entire professional career developing solid connections with senior level producers, creative directors, editorial houses and music companies. His uncanny ability to identify emerging talent in the industry combined with his unsurpassed working relationships across the industry will ensure that MAS will represent and deliver only the best of what the music industry has to offer.
